There is a lot of misinformation circulating about what will happen in 2012. Most of it is fear-based and predicting things like cataclysmic earth changes and the end of the world. In Truth, we have already entered the initial impulse of the Shift of the Ages. We began our ascent up the Spiral of Evolution into the 5th Dimension between the Lunar and Solar Eclipses in November 2003, during an event that was coined Harmonic Concordance. That does not mean, however, that 2012 is not important. It is very significant.

 

Whenever the collective consciousness of Humanity is focused on a particular moment in time, we have a tremendous opportunity to cocreate something together. Depending on what we are focusing on, that cocreation can be either wonderful or devastating.

Directly on the equinox, the Moon is in Gemini giving us dreams that connect us to our paths.  Mercury moves quickly towards Venus in Aries just after the equinox, giving us full communication of our Goddess energy and appropriate feminine attitudes. 

 

As we head towards the Spring Equinox, our spiritual awareness becomes very important.  Mars ends it’s retrograde on the 8th of March, and moves along at 0 degrees Leo until the equinox occurs.  With Venus in Aries during this same period, we have a contrast between our male and female energies; one is in a Cardinal Fire Sign and the other in a Fixed Fire Sign.  Fire energizes our androgynous nature and spring creates love in our hearts.  This is a great time to learn to love ourselves, pamper ourselves and draw love towards the upward motion of energy in our auras. 

There is nothing more primal than the basic rhythm of ebb and flow. We constantly live with the dualities of empty/full, inner/outer, give/take. These rocking rhythms are linked with heartbeat, breath, life, and death. As a holistic nurse astrologer, the intention of my work is to help people find the point of cohesion, where inner is one with outer, where sky is one with earth. The instrument of my work is natural cycles - primarily the cycles of the Moon.

 

The Moon mirrors duality: New Moon to Full, Full to Dark of Moon, then dissolution and the beginning of another cycle. In this consistent rhythm of waxing and waning, the Moon teaches us how to live with duality. It is in the transition period between lunar cycles, however, that the Moon teaches us how to transcend duality. The space between ending cycle and beginning cycle - and there is such a space - represents an emptiness that encompasses all.

 

In order to reach and stay at sacred levels of our consciousness, it is pretty clear that each person needs to work out for themselves how they can be the love they are without interference. It is the doubting, the ego issues, the fear and warmongering that prevents us staring love in the face. Sure we see it every day in nature, but as soon as we decide to put on the media, read the papers, the alternative view of what life is NOT, appears to our minds eye. We become what we feed to our minds and emotions, at whatever level. It is not up to anyone else to aid one to reach sacred levels, yet we have come far enough to be on the threshold of discovery for the self to be able to raise the dimensions of being, to new levels not known before. To stay at the sacred levels requires knowing the shades and nuances of love, and the ability to trust that we are able to dance with its movement in each moment with confidence.

This is when the Light and Dark are equal in the Southern and Northern Hemispheres, and equal Light and Dark in the day. The energies are unified, Heaven and Earth, Spirit and Matter merge. This energy is a powerful gateway for the transformation of humanity, and the opening of the Solar Self. Remembering the Sun is not masculine or feminine but unified energy from Source, the Moon reflects the Solar Rays and illuminates us at night, notice how Golden the Moon is now days, and bright.

 

 

Heightened energies are now opening portals in consciousness that allow many who have been following their spiritual path to expand their ability to receive intuitive guidance. Those who have been teaching, sharing and growing in their understandings will now be able to step into an even stronger role as direct conduits for spirit. Some will become spiritual channels.

We are entitled to see in this general fact the proof of a conscious Force at work in the animal and the insect which is more intelligent, more purposeful, more aware of its intention, its ends, its means, its conditions than the highest mentality yet manifested in any individual form on earth.

 

The New Moon on Monday follows a conjunction of the Sun to Mercury this weekend that has activated our intelligence and facilitated our reasoning.  This New Moon is a majestic lunar event that includes not only the Sun and Moon, but also an exact conjunction of Mercury to Uranus within a degree of the Sun/Moon alignment.

 

Uranus is considered the "higher octave" of Mercury, and it represents the higher mind where Mercury represents the individual mind. Pisces, of course, rules over the realm of imagination and creativity, but also the spiritual connection that we all yearn for in one form or another. The creative impulse that is borne out of this New Moon is powerful and intelligent in its impact, and can be harnessed for great things.

We are connected to everything in the Universe; everything flows through us and to us. Our energies, our thoughts, and our words flow through all of life, on Earth and elsewhere.  There is not an end to us, or a beginning, but a continual flow of life, changing form over and over again.  We are continually perfecting our form in each and every incarnation, whether that is as an element, plant animal, human, star, or galaxy.  We deliberately challenge ourselves to become all we can become.  There is no failure in this type of existence only evolution. 

 

You are in a time of birthing yourself into higher light at a different octave of truth. As you sit in the womb of No-time, No-space, you try to stretch, but the walls of illusion, keep you confined in an invisible prison.  You push and push but you are not able to stretch into the vastness you innately know yourself to be.  When a child is in the mothers womb, the child’s spirit has the ability to reach out past the limitations of the physical womb, skirting about in the parent’s lives, reaching into the past, and future, overcoming space and time.

As the memory of what was, seems to drift like a dream in the morning, we continue to move quickly down the corridor of time. We are being ushered into time doors that swing both ways. Down hallways that never end into a place that has not been created yet.  All of us have seen and felt the difference and the trail of chaos it leaves behind. Time is like a wild horse that bucks the 24 hr system and continues to look for a way out of the dimensional corral.

 

We all run like hamsters in a clear ball bumping into walls paddling our little feet as fast as we can. Not getting anywhere and exhausted by all the energy it took just to get this far. Time brushes past us like a gust of wind, not asking our permission to do what it was born to do. Life pushes us harder into a corner of limited choices or so it seems, but it is us that has painted ourselves into that corner by our limited thinking. We can just as easily paint a way out if we choose.

As more and more demands are placed upon us we seem to have little time to sit fully in our light and do what our hearts desire. We miss us.  we lie stretched out to the limits. So many strings tie us down emotionally and financially as we struggle to keep our heads above the incoming tide.  We miss our connection with the Universe/God as we see less and less of who we are and more and more of who we are not.  A great void buffers our energies as we try so hard to be seen thru the soupy fog.

We call forth the presence of all that is Light, all that is Holy, and all that is Love.  We call forth the presence of the highest aspect of truth and of wisdom.  We ask that all that is hidden be revealed to us and that we have the strength and the courage and the conviction to walk through those truths. 

 

We ask to all be clear and perfect channels for the highest light of all that’s holy going beyond the atmosphere of the Earth and the solar system to places that we haven’t ventured before in a long time.  We ask that we receive this channeling as a healing and that our hearts and our ears be opened to hear what we need to hear.  We ask for the energies of the highest good that benefits this entire group and all that will hear this to come forth and are aligned with the highest aspects of life.
